Whats is TotemCash? TotemCash is an Affiliation program. Affiliation programs are arrangements in which an online merchant Web site pays affiliate Web sites a commission to send them traffic. These affiliate Web sites post links to the merchant site and are paid a portion of the sales generated (in our case 50%). back to top Can I become an affiliate? Becoming an affiliate is easy. Fill out our online application form to become a member of TotemCash. The application will ask for some personal information (name, address, payment method) and information on your site (URL, name) and will have you agree to a service agreement. This is completely free. back to top How to send traffic? We provide promotion material as well as links to use that contain the URL of our site and your affiliate identification number. When visitors click on the link, our servers records a hit on that particular URL, which tells us what affiliate sent a visitor. We also track sales using Internet cookies containing these same identification numbers, so we know what affiliate referred the customer to us. back to top How to send traffic with Banners These links appear as boxes, usually containing words and some sort of graphic element. They may be the best choice when you think a text link doesn't do enough to attract visitors. Go to the Marketing Tools section and choose a banner there. The advantage of text links in an affiliate program is they are ingrained in the content of your site and so don't look so much like advertisements. Please note that for clients that buy from Europe VAT applies. €24.95 Price includes a 19.6% VAT. It means Price taxes not included is 24.95/1.196 = €20.86. So, VAT = €4.09 For your European customers, you get: [(€24.95 (Price with VAT included) - €4.09 (VAT 19.6%) - €2.50 (Biller fee 12%)) x 50% (Normal revshare rate)] x 1.50 (Exchange rate of the Euro to the Dollar of the day) back to top How do I check my stats? Go to the "Stats" section, select your dates and or adspaces and see your results. back to top How do I check my referral stats? To get your referral stats, simply select "webmaster referral stats" in the "stats type" box. All rebills and sales are clearly shown on the stats interface, together with potential refunds & chargebacks. back to top When do I get paid? Twice a month directly by us, by check, via regular Mail (see the 'terms of agreement' for payment date details) or by epassporte, with a $2 fees by payment. back to top Are there any transaction fees? You can find your stats per transaction by clicking the "see details by day" on the stats page (under the product name).Then click the little cross on the right. You will see all transactions. These transactions indicate the % of fees applied to each transaction. Here is the list of fees the billers take:
back to top Is there a minimum payout? Yes. The minimum payout is set to $100, but you can change it on the "my profile" section of Totemcash. Sending a check smaller than $50 is not cost-effective, so $50 is the absolute minimum. back to top What method of payment do you offer? We pay by check or by epassporte. Checks are issued from our US bank account. Checks are sent by regular mail to the address you gave us. It takes between 3 days and 2 weeks to reach you, depending on how far your country is from France. You can cash them on whatever account (in all countries) in return for your bank fees. ePassporte allows direct transfer of money from one ePassporte account to another for $2, whatever the country & the amount is. back to top How do I get an ePassporte account? To create your account, click HERE and follow instructions ; then go to your Totemcash profile, select « I want to be paid by ePassporte » & type your ePassporte ID. back to top Do I need to create several accounts to track my banners and/or sites results? No need to create several accounts, that would split your revenues! We can split your account into "adspaces" so that you get separated stats but 1 payment. For that, please send an email to webmaster@totemcash.com giving your Totemcash login & the name of the adspaces you need to be created. back to top How do I get my Totemcash accounts merged into 1 account including adspaces? Please send an email to webmaster@totemcash.com with your Totemcash accounts' login explaining which account you want them to be merged under; of course, the balance will be carried over to the merging account. back to top Why payment by check is optional? The "payment by check" option has shown to have overly high revoke rates, especially due to fraudulent transactions. You can decide to disable the "payment by check" option to your surfers (in "MyProfile" section) so that they can only pay by Credit card or phone on our products' join pages. back to top What is the "payment by Web900" option? Web900 allows the visitors to our sites to buy our products by telephone at a normal rate of $24.95 for 1 month (non recurring). CCBill is the provider of this option. Please note that CCBill Web900 fees are 22,5%. Given that our revsharing percentage is 60%, you will get: [24.95-(24.95x22,5%)]x60%=$11.60. This option is enabled on your Totemcash account by default. If you wish to disable this option, simply login to your profile section on Totemcash and uncheck the box. back to top The power of Text Links! A good catchy slogan in a text link well placed should do a good job at attracting clicks.
